Suba Fiberart has experience working both on private and corporate commissions. Susan is able to design and make a piece to suit your requirements. Commissioning a piece is a wonderful experience and leaves you with something very unique to you and your space.

Below is a quick guide to the commissioning process at Suba Fiberart:

Step 1: Contact us with your commission idea, let us know about the space you have, the colors, theme and size you are looking for. Try and give as much info as you can here. You can send images of the space you are looking to get a piece for, measurements, color needs etc. Knowing more about what it is that you need, will make for a more accurate first proposal.

Step 2: Susan will get back to you with an initial proposal. Giving you an idea of pricing, time scale and design possibilities.

Step 3: Once you are happy that you would like to receive initial designs and color swatches a €50 design fee will be due. When you go ahead with the commission this fee will be discounted from your commissions total price. (please be aware that if more design time is needed there will be an extra charge of €25/hr)

The €50 covers two hours of design work and will include design sketches and color swatches, that will be posted to your home address free of charge. Where you can then choose your preference.

Step 3: To go forward with your commission a 50% deposit will be due before work commences and the balance will be due before the piece is shipped.

Step 4: You will have a beautiful one of a kind piece of Suba fiberart hanging in your space.
